At Store Rite, We Are Experienced and Reliable Professionals for Full Truckload Services
01 When FTL Is the Right Choice
Full truckload freight becomes cost-effective when your shipment fills more than roughly half of a standard truck. Below that threshold, LTL consolidation is usually more economical. We will advise you on the most cost-effective option based on your cargo dimensions, weight, and delivery urgency. We have no incentive to route you to a more expensive service than your freight requires.
02 Carrier Selection for Your Route
We work with multiple FTL carriers across New Zealand and select the right carrier for your specific route, cargo type, and delivery timeframe. For temperature-sensitive or high-value cargo, we can specify carriers with the appropriate equipment and insurance. For urgent movements, we maintain relationships with carriers who can provide short-notice truck allocation.
03 Scheduling & Pre-Booking
For regular FTL movements, we work with you to establish a consistent schedule so that carrier capacity is pre-booked and available on your required departure days. For ad-hoc movements, we can typically arrange FTL freight with 24 to 48 hours notice depending on the route and current carrier availability.
04 Real-Time Tracking & POD
All FTL movements are tracked through our carrier systems and visible through your customer portal. Proof of delivery is recorded electronically as soon as the carrier confirms receipt at the destination. For high-value shipments, we can arrange tracking updates at additional points along the route.
05 Inter-Hub Freight Across Our Network
FTL is also used for stock transfers between our Auckland, Tauranga, and Christchurch facilities when clients need to redistribute inventory across their national holding. We manage the loading, transport, and receiving at the destination facility, with full inventory updates in your customer portal at both ends.
