Kitting & Assembly

From warehousing to distribution, we handle your entire supply chain so you can focus on growth. Trusted by New Zealand’s leading eCommerce brands.

From Components to Sellable Kits

Selling bundles and kits adds value for your customers and increases your average order value. But building those kits in-house takes time, floor space, and people you probably do not have spare, especially during promotional periods when kit demand spikes.

We build kits and assemblies directly within our warehouse using your components, your packaging specifications, and your quality standards. Finished kits go straight into your storage location and are available for order fulfilment immediately. No separate facility and no manual coordination between production and 3PL.

Built to Your Specification. Ready to Ship.

Kitting and assembly integrated directly into your fulfilment workflow.

Multi-Component Kitting

Kits assembled from your individual components following a documented bill of materials, with a QC check on every unit before it enters your available stock.

Promotional Bundle Building

Seasonal and promotional bundles built and stored ahead of your campaign launch date, so they are available for immediate fulfilment when your promotion goes live.

Kit Quality Control

Every kit is checked against your specification before entering stock. Component shortages and assembly defects are identified and reported before they affect your customer orders.

Let's Talk About Your Kitting Requirements

Your warehousing and fulfilment requirements are unique. We would love to hear about them.

At Store Rite, We Are Experienced and Reliable Professionals for Kitting & Assembly

01 Bill of Materials Documentation

Before we begin kitting your products, we document a formal bill of materials for each kit SKU. This lists every component, its source location in our warehouse, its quantity per kit, and the assembly sequence. The bill of materials is reviewed and approved by you before we run the first kit batch. Any changes to kit composition are reflected in an updated BOM before we proceed.

Kitting operations are managed through our WMS. When a kit batch is assembled, the component SKUs are decremented from your inventory and the finished kit SKU is incremented. You see this movement in real time in your customer portal. Your inventory is always accurate regardless of whether a product is being held as a component, in-kit, or as a finished kit.

For planned promotional campaigns such as BFCM bundles or Christmas gift sets, we work with you to pre-build kit stock ahead of your campaign launch date. We schedule kitting runs based on your anticipated demand so that when your promotion goes live, you have sufficient finished kits in stock to fulfil the initial order surge without a delay.

Every kit is quality checked against your bill of materials before it enters your available inventory. QC checks confirm that all components are present, correctly positioned, and meet your presentation standard. Defective kits are flagged and set aside for remediation rather than entering your stock and creating fulfilment issues downstream.

Kitting turnaround depends on kit complexity and batch volume. Simple kits can be turned around within 1 to 2 business days. Complex assemblies or very large batches are scheduled in advance with a confirmed completion date. We communicate any delays proactively rather than waiting for you to follow up.
