01 Port of Auckland Access & Relationships
Our transport operation has established relationships with Port of Auckland, Ports of Auckland container yards, and the carriers who service these facilities. This means we can move containers efficiently, avoid common delays, and communicate accurately about collection windows and any port-side issues.
02 Demurrage Minimisation
Demurrage costs add up quickly and are often avoidable with good planning and fast pickup. We work with you to pre-plan collection windows based on your vessel ETA, target port release, and our facility receiving schedule. Where possible, we pre-book carrier slots before your container arrives so there is no waiting.
03 Container Status Tracking
We track your container from vessel arrival through port discharge, through to release and collection. You receive updates at key milestones so you always know where your shipment is. If there are delays at the port, we communicate them to you immediately so you can plan accordingly.
04 MPI Transitional Facility Receiving
Our Dalgety Drive facility is an MPI-approved transitional facility, which means containers arriving from the port can be held and inspected for biosecurity compliance on arrival at our warehouse. This is a significant advantage for importers who need biosecurity compliance managed alongside container transport.
05 Container Return Management
After devanning, we coordinate the return of your empty container to the port or the nominated container depot. We track container return confirmation and provide this documentation to you and your shipping agent to close out the container rental and avoid detention charges.

How quickly can you collect a container after it is released?
We aim to collect containers within 24 to 48 hours of port release. We will confirm exact timelines based on current port availability, your container schedule, and any MPI requirements that apply to your shipment.
Do you arrange transport from other NZ ports?
Our primary container transport service is from the Port of Auckland to our Dalgety Drive facility. For containers arriving at the Port of Tauranga, we can coordinate transport to our Mount Maunganui facility. Contact us to discuss your specific port and destination requirements.
Can you coordinate directly with my freight forwarder?
Yes. We work alongside your freight forwarder or shipping agent for seamless handoff on container arrival. We can be added to your freight forwarder’s notification list so we receive container arrival updates directly.
